LOVE (Doesn't Mean Anything)

LOVE is a generative text processing program written specifically to generate poetic verse compositions by reworking Tweets associated with the word "Love." Tweets having the word or hashtag "Love" within them are used by the program for the purpose of producing a structure of five loose verses fully produced by an automated system.
When the composition is ready, a thermal printer installed on the ceiling of the room prints an 80X80mm pink card containing the poem, which then falls to the floor. The process is repeated every thirty seconds.
LOVE è un programma di elaborazione testuale generativo, scritto per generare composizioni poetiche in versi rielaborando i Tweet associati alla parola “Love”. I tweet che hanno al loro interno la parola o l’hashtag “Love” vengono utilizzati dal programma allo scopo di produrre una struttura di cinque versi sciolti completamente rielaborata da un sistema automatizzato.
Quando la composizione è pronta, una stampante termica installata sul soffitto della stanza stampa un biglietto rosa di 80X80mm contenete la poesia, che poi cade a terra. Il processo si ripete ogni trenta secondi.
