LETTERE
The work is performed through light projections, manifesting short original texts on the walls of places and buildings in suburban areas of different cities, all made during the summer of 2019. The photographs documenting the operation are then returned as slides reproduced in a specific order.
"Lettere" is part of an intimist analysis within the urban periphery. It stems from an inttrospection exercised with the text, concerning the relationship between place and memory, which led to a journey back through the three cities inhabited by the artist: Fermo, Anzio and Milan.
Il lavoro è svolto tramite proiezioni di luce, che manifestano brevi testi originali sui muri di luoghi ed edifici in aree suburbane di di diverse città, tutte realizzate durante l'estate del 2019. Le fotografie che documentano l'operazione vengo poi restituite come diapositive riprodotte in un ordine specifico.
“Lettere” fa parte di un’analisi intimista all’interno della periferia urbana. Nasce da un'inttrospezione esercitata con il testo, che riguarda il rapporto tra luogo e ricordo, e che ha portato ad un viaggio a ritroso attraverso le tre città abitate dall'artista: Fermo, Anzio e Milano.

Each text projection was made using a handmade device assembled from recycled parts and powered by a modified portable battery. The device was usually mounted on a tripod and often fixed on the roof of a car before being lit and pointed at the locations of interest.
Ogni proiezione è stata realizzata utilizzando un dispositivo fatto a mano, assemblato con parti riciclate e alimentato da una batteria portatile modificata. Il dispositivo è stato montato su un treppiede e spesso posizionato sul tetto di un'auto prima di essere acceso e puntato verso i punti di interesse.
