Thomas Bentivoglio, born in 1998, lives in Milan. He graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in 2020, then pursued a MA in Visual Culture and Curatorial Practices in 2023. The artistic strand pursued by the artist focuses on the value of words, fragility and intimacy, with a emphasis on the strong personal presence within the works. An intimate and ongoing narrative interweaves evocative words with ephemeral media such as paper, banknotes, broken glass, perfume and light, constructing works and performative gestures often with cathartic value.
Thomas Bentivoglio, nato nel 1998 vive a Milano. Si laurea all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera nel 2020, conseguendo poi una specializzazione in Visual Culture e pratiche Curatoriali nel 2023. Il filone artistico portato avanti dall’artista si concentra sul valore della parola, sulla fragilità e sull'intimità, con un’attenzione alla forte presenza personale all'interno delle opere. Una narrazione intima e continuativa intreccia parole evocatrici con supporti effimeri come la carta, le banconote, il vetro rotto, il profumo e la luce, costruendo opere e gesti performativi spesso con valenza catartica.
